Hey there Elephant listeners! For those of us here at Hendrix, I hope you are all enjoying these much needed days off as the dreaded midterm season dies down. Luckily, the show today will be just as relaxing as your Netflix-induced Fall Break coma. First on the show, I avoid the election as much as possible but take a look at new regulations that could be coming to the world of online campaigning. Currently, all campaigning online is unregulated but that may soon change. Next up, Tesla CEO Elon Musk got into a bit of a twitter feud this week over the subsidies his car maker receives every year. But how much does Tesla actually receive? Gotta tune in to find out. The third story of the day involves good ole’ OPEC and their promise to cut oil production. A promise that they so far have yet to fulfill. Lastly, I dive into the issue of the Gas Tax and why New Jersey’s latest increase is becoming more rare every year. Catch all these stories live on Thursdays or as always, snag a podcast right here.
