A combination of punk rock and funk, The Red Hot Chili Pepper’s created a brand of alternative music that had never really been seen before. The band has produced many successful albums over their career including: Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magik and Californication. The Smashing Pumpkins, another 90s alt band, saw success with their break out album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.
