Theme of the Week: Mardi Gras
I drew inspiration for my radio show this week because I am from Mobile, AL which is where Mardi Gras first began in America. Mardi Gras this year was on March 5th, so I felt obligated to play Mardi Gras themed music on my show. I invited a guest, Alex Lambert, who is a sophomore from New Orleans to talk about how Mardi Gras in New Orleans is different than Mardi Gras in Mobile. We talked about our favorite Mardi Gras food and parades and played traditional Mardi Gras music as music.
