On the Feb 13th I gave am update about Coronavirus. I got most of my information from CNN so I will link that at the bottom. After that, I focused on the 2014 Ebola outbreak. Ebola has been around since the 1970s and often has outbreaks. The 2014 had a 64% mortality rate which made it a terrifying outbreak. It was not as infectious as many people believed. People who survived an Ebola infection are now immune to the disease but are often shunned in public because of misinformation and fear still surrounding the virus. I also mentioned a documentary that I watched in TEC Epidemics that has more information about Ebola, the Flu, and Zika (Linked at the bottom). Although Ebola is still causing issues in Africa, is no longer as widespread as it was in 2014. The 2014 Ebola outbreak officially ended in 2016. I said I would talk about Zika next time but that may change.
