In episode 18, we talk about TV shows and movies that put us into withdrawal when it ends. Then, we talk about the struggles of the second-generation immigrant identity crisis living in America. The crisis is that we don’t feel American enough for our American peers, but not ethnic enough for our ethnic groups. However, our hyphenated American identities actually allow us to take advantage of claiming a whole American identity, a whole ethnic other identity, and a unique hyphenated American identity. We finish the episode by discussing our bucket lists for our twenties including parasailing, going to a Post Malone concert, and falling in love. The songs played are by Asian artists: “Starlight” by TAEIL, “Very, Slowly” by BIBI, “24” by Sundial, and “Good Day” by pH-1, Paloalto, Kid Milli, and Loopy.
