What’s Up Ragged Old Flag Fans…..

Week #2 show was last night 2/12/19 and we kicked off a little earlier than usual. I had a special guest in for the first time, Eli Brizendine, a teammate of mine. We discussed the Luke Combs concert I had attended last Friday and all the highlights of it. To review that just a bit… My brother Henry who I took- forgot his ticket and almost didn’t get into the show, I caught one of LANCO’s (Luke’s opening act) guitar picks, we were front row, and we got featured on Luke’s personal Instagram page!! Overall it was a blast for sure.

To follow up the concert discussion..

Luke Combs will be featured on a new Brooks and Dunn album which drops April 5, 2019. The album is a reboot of some of Brook and Dunn’s classic songs while featuring new artists! Some of these artists include: Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett, Midland, Jon Pardi, Brothers Osborn, and Brett Eldredge just to name a few. The album actually started with much credit to Luke Combs as he expressed to B&D’s manager his adoration of them growing up and writing music. Luke had done a cover of their song “Brand New Man” featured on YouTube which caught the attention of the B&D Crew. Thanks to that interest the album was born, which will feature a version of “Brand New Man” with B&D and Luke Combs! BONUS….IT DROPPED EARLY (2/8/19) THE SAME DAY AS HIS CONCERT IN NORTH LITTLE ROCK!

On the topic of the New B&D Album and Luke Comb’s Concert…

Luke’s Concert of course was phenomenal. It was phenomenal to the point that the crowed wailed for an encore. This being Luke’s second tour weekend and the sheer volume of the crowd, he stepped up to the occasion of course. For the encore…. Luke played the 24 hour old song B&D just dropped, “BRAND NEW MAN” that he is featured on. It was the greatest encore the fans could’ve asked for from Luke. And it’s during that song, being front row, I got to shake the man himself’s hand!!!

Check in next Tuesday for more Ragged Old Flag Radio! Love you guys
