Ragged Old Flag listeners, hope everyone had a great break!
This week we rolled back into the booth at a slow pace. I discussed by Spring Break trip to London and a couple of upcoming concerts! As always the playlist we listened to I posted through Spotify on my “Website” link so make sure to check that out!
On the topic of concerts we discussed upcoming performances from Luke Combs, Eric Church, and Chris Stapleton!
Eric Church’s most recent album “Desperate Man” has done great on the Country Billboards and continues to rise song by song daily. This fall, Church will be going on tour with this album in mind. Locally he will be performing at Verizon Arena in North Little Rock on October 25th 2019. Tickets for this show are a little pricey and on sale now. The best deal to me personally looks like getting seats on the floor for roughly $150. All in all, the concert should be great and I will definitely be looking into tickets here soon.
Chris Stapleton as an artist has had a fantastic year, winning the CMA’s Country Song of the Year with his song, “Broken Halos”. Here soon Chris will also get the honor to perform with “The King”, George Strait, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia March 27th (Saturday). More locally however, he will be on his own tour this fall and be coming to Verizon Arena August 23rd, 2019. With Chris’ more chill vibe this concert will make an awesome date night for two stepping if you got into the PIT. Ticket prices range, though they are much cheaper all around compared to Church’s. Personally, I’ll probably still be buying both because hello these guys are top class, cheers to them.
Last but never the least, Luke Combs. Luke is currently on his “Beer Never Broke My Heart” tour and close to all of the venues are sold out. Being a man of the people, Luke has flirted with the idea of adding dates to this tour. If you’re interested he and I both recommend joining his FREE fan club for this announcement. Besides scalpers, this is probably your only way of scoring tickets. ALSO. Congrats are in order for our boy Combs. Announced on Monday, Luke has one the ACM’s New Male Country Artist of the Year. This was a competitive competition to be a part of this year, and nobody in my eyes is more deserving then our guy. Winning this competition means he will get to perform at the ACM’s on April 7th. Luke has announced this performance will include an appearance by his idols (and mine) Brooks and Dunn. Therefore if you do the math…Luke and B&D will be singing their new rendition of “Brand New Man”.
*tears roll down my face and hit my keyboard*
THIS IS GOING TO BE AMAZING.
That’s all I got this week guys. Tune in next week for my second interview ever, first interview in booth on Ragged Old Flag Radio! We will have Paul Chapman in to discuss what he does and his nonprofit “Restore Hope” – super excited for this!!
As always love you guys long time, have a fantastic week, and check out that playlist!!!! ———–> Click “WEBSITE“
