As a bonus post for this month, I want to give a quick review of Ben Fold’s recent autobiography, A Dream About Lightning Bugs.

Ben Folds, the professional pianist and rock n’ roll artist, recently released a mid-length autobiography. Outrageously funny and brutally candid, his memoir spans from his early childhood to his current age. The book doesn’t just cover his musical upbringing and growth, but also the useful, thankfully cheap, and occasionally downright terrifying life lessons he learned along the way. While I would recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a good book, I think it’s an especially helpful read for anyone interested in pursuing the arts, as he talks a lot about his creative process. Overall, the book is well-written, honest, and wonderfully inspiring.

But don’t take my word for it; go read and love it yourself!
