This week was a special treat for me: all compare and contrasts! It’s been too long since I’ve had time for my favorite segment, so this one was nothing but. Here’s all the pairs and YouTube links (for ease of access) so you can appreciate them in your own time:

Since I talked about him for a bit, this is La Mort de Marat, painted by Jacques-Louis David in 1793. You can see Edvard Munch’s photographed self-portrait named after it here.
