In this episode, we talked about the importance of representation and having role models. We talked about how the recent influx of movies and television shows that casted more people of color was a sight for sore eyes.As people of color, role models that looked like us were hard to come by so we talked about the rare instances that we did have role models in certain parts of the entertainment industry including music, cinema, and even in sports. In addition, we listened to music by people who fit the description of role models for people of color like us.
