Episode 8 is about the sometimes overprotective nature of our families, being in the thick of cuffing season, and how we’re trying to live more in the present. We talk about the ways our closeness to our families can result in overprotecting our siblings, which stunts their development of independence. Shifting gears to cuffing season, we share our thoughts on whether culture concordance is important for a significant other based on past experiences and future expectations. Finishing out the episode, we talk about how we want to live more in the now instead of spiraling in on the future. We’re leaving Hendrix soon and we want to cherish each moment we have left. Each song: “Protect U”, “What the Spring”, “Time Limit”, and “Spring” are by Korean artists and serve to complement the topics covered.
