This week we celebrate the oncoming release of The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe with a playlist of songs on work and, of course, money. I really had a blast with this one. You can listen to it here.

The compare and contrast for today had, very satisfyingly to me, near identical themes with almost opposite tones! Two songs about totalitarian leaders, “Cult of Personality” by Living Colour and “Kiss Me, Son of God” by They Might Be Giants.

I hope you enjoyed today’s playlist! And if you haven’t played The Stanley Parable and were intrigued, you can read some promotional material here. Truly the best selling point of this game, aside from its examination of autonomy in the face of capitalism and an all-consuming narrative, is its sense of humor.

See you next week!

Your DJ/Dinner Companion,
Drew
