
Hey, you hepcats! To-nite, we took a trip back to the 50s, and it was a gas! (I looked up some slang to use throughout to truly transport you) The next two shows will also be decades, because it’s in preparation for SOCO 54, the Hendrix Social Committee’s annual Disco party. I’m getting people a feel for what music might have been popular leading up to the age of discotheques, and that started with the decade in which my grandparents were around my age! We had a couple mix-ups in tech, but it got sorted quickly. Above is a picture of an oak on campus. It reminded me of being in my backyard when i was small.
