Another week, another fun show! Hope you enjoy!

---|---|---|---|---|
Santana | Black Magic Woman | Abraxas (1970) | Fun fact: This was actually a Fleetwood Mac Song before Santana did! | |
Bruce Springsteen | Blinded by the Light | Greetings from Asbury Park NJ! (1973) | The Boss did indeed make liberal use of a rhyming dictionary when writing this song.... | |
Three Dog Night | Jeremiah was a Bulldog (Joy to the World) | Naturally (1970) | SO there appears to be much debate on the Internet about whether or not Creedence Clearwater Revival does a version of this or if they're just not involved in general??? | |
Grand Funk Railroad | We're an American Band | We're an American Band (1973) | They mention Little Rock! Also, Rob Zombie recently did a cover of this (notably replacing "Freddie King" the blues musician with "Kerry King" the guitarist from Slayer) | |
Eric Clapton | Wonderful Tonight | Slowhand (1977) | Such a great song. That's all there is to say. | |
Cream | Crossroads | Wheels of Fire (1968) | Great cover of the immortal Robert Johnson's "Cross Road Blues" from 1936 | |
Fleetwood Mac | Tusk | Tusk (1979) | Feel better now, Nathan? | |
Heart | Crazy on You | Dreamboat Annie (1976) | Gotta love Heart! | |
ZZ Top | Just Got Paid | Rio Grande Mud (1972) | We don't seem to play enough ZZ Top, so here you go! | |
Rolling Stones | Can't You Hear Me Knocking | Sticky Fingers (1971) | Fun fact: This song comes from Barrett's favorite Rolling Stones album |
Good rocking show. A couple of things. Neither John Fogerty nor Creedence ever put out a version of Hoyt Axton’s “Joy to the World”. Hoyt did though. Also the Eagles had a single called “Witchy Woman”. Mighty fine song and their second single. They never recorded “Black Magic Woman”. The song was performed by the original Fleetwood Mac, because their leader, Peter Green wrote it.
