Hey, guys, it’s one of your favorite Dj’s, DJ Mad.E.C, back agian! Miss me? Well never fear, here I am again with a whole new set of song blurbs for you guys, this time with a Halloween twist because (in case you didn’t know) today is Halloween! Let’s get started!

The first song I’m going to talk about is absolutely one of the best pop horror songs known to man. Literally, almost every man knows (and loves) this song. This song was performed by the King of Pop himself: Michael Jackson. The song is *Thriller*. The song came out on the night before Halloween of 1982 and it took the world by storm.  It combines elements of supernatural insanity and also a funky fresh rhythm and soul. You can’t hear this song and not want to get up and either howl, scream, or break out into the iconic Thriller dance. This song is personally one of my favorites because it is a song that my dad and I would get down to on a regular basis and it was one of our most enjoyable pastimes. If you haven’t heard the song, you should definitely take the time out of your life to add this to your forever Halloween playlist!

The Second Song is a song that is not very well known but I consider it to be very enjoyable. The song is called Re: Your Brain by Jonathan Coulton. Basically this song is from the viewpoint of a man who has been turned into a zombie and he is talking to a former colleague and he is trying to convince the colleague to let him and his fellow zombie friends into his house so that they can eat his brains. It’s silly and playful in a zombie kind of way, and when the chorus comes on it makes you want to sing it loud and proclaim your want/need for brains. If you listen to the lyrics they tell a pretty good story, and it’s definitely worth adding to your Halloween playlist as a fun little diddy to lift your Halloween spritis.
