Welcome back to today’s episode of the Book Nook!
Today Kennedy and I discussed Homer’s Odyssey. It’s a great book, possibly the best in my opinion, since it serves as the base for so much of our modern literature with themes such as traveling back to our loved ones after a long and life-changing journey, and personal growth leading towards self-discovery.
We discussed a bunch about ancient text (maybe a little more than we should’ve), but don’t fret! Zeus does a lot of talking in this episode since he can’t help but use ethos, pathos, and logos whenever he decides to speak.
Leave My Woman Alone, Ray Charles
(Sittin’ On) the Dock of the Bay, Otis Redding
A Man Without Love, Englebert Humperdinck
Put Your Head on My Shoulder, Paul Anka
