Radio Clash

On Radio Clash I am going to play and talk about the music that I love! The musical genre I gravitate towards the most is punk, and that will be the bulk of what I play on air, so I named my show after a song by The Clash, “Radio Clash”. The Clash are very mainstream, quintessential figures of punk. The lyrics in “Radio Clash” are based on the idea of The Clash transmitting a message from their own pirate radio station – so I found the title fitting!! Additionally, I am planning on making the intro audio from the beginning of the song. I’ll also talk about the history behind the songs/bands I play on air – like what inspired their sound and how their sound inspired other musicians. But, I listen to a wide variety of music – there’s tons of good music out there and it would be a blast to play songs I love and share about them. Other genres I’ll play are goth, riot grrl, grunge, post-punk, etc. Thanks for your consideration!
